Oh no, we regret to hear that happened to you, David! So that you can receive help with that issue, contact Petco's Customer Service directly.

We have always purchased the flakes but had to purchase the granules one day due to the store we were at were out of the flakes. When we ran out of the granules we purchased the flakes again. Our fish would not eat the flakes. Guess what? We had to go to Petco and buy the granules. Our fish are very happy now.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My fish love this food, the only thing is, is that some of my fish are really small. So I simply grind up the granules into a powder, very easy to do.
