Finally, guaranteed, species-specific probiotics help support digestion and carefully selected vitamins and minerals ensure your dog gets the simple yet complete nutrition they need, without the hunt.

Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this dog food for exceptional palatability, with most dogs eagerly consuming it and showing visible excitement at mealtime. The clean, limited-ingredient formula with no artificial additives, grains, or GMOs is consistently highlighted, especially by owners of dogs with allergies or sensitivities who report resolved digestive issues and skin reactions. Many appreciate the small kibble size for older or small-breed dogs, and the multiple protein options allow flavor rotation. Strong brand loyalty is evident, with most customers expressing clear intent to repurchase. A few report their dogs did not enjoy it, typically attributed to individual preferences rather than product flaws.

Vet said this food likely caused heart failure

Trebeal

Took my 6 year old dog into the vet last month after he was acting odd and collapsed. Vet said it was heart failure and asked me what food I was feeding him. She looked it up and said a dog food shouldn’t have lentils as one of the top ingredients and that there’s a lot of research linking grain free foods to heart failure in otherwise healthy dogs. We put him on 4 medications and immediately changed his food, but he ended up needing to be put down 2 weeks later.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We love Taste of the Wild for their good ingredients and price. They have a great selection of different flavors that we like to mix and match, so our dogs aren’t tired of the same flavor every month. We have one dog with allergies do the limited ingredient does well for him.

Great for Sensitive Stomachs

The Prey series has been a godsend for my dog with a sensitive stomach. We used trout for a while and now we have switched to turkey due to some fish issues, not in the Prey, but again, very sensitive stomach. Both of our dogs eat it and never complain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this one as it is full of nutrients that helps keep my dog healthy with energy and her coat is very soft and beautiful. My dog absolutely loves the Turkey flavor and she begs for more. My dog is very built with a strong body, and I know that when she is eating the taste of wild dog food she's eating something that is grain free and my dog is getting exactly everything she needs to continue to grow. When you continue feeding your dog this one, they'll have a great healthy meal that is filled with just the right amount of vitamins and minerals to help you dog develop a body built for a champion!!
