Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this beet shred product for supporting equine health, particularly for senior horses and hard keepers. Reviewers highlight improved hydration, digestive support, and weight gain, noting the soft soaked mash is ideal for horses with dental issues. Many report horses eagerly consume it, making it an excellent supplement vehicle. The quick 15-30 minute soaking time and high palatability are frequently cited advantages. A small number mention recent quality inconsistencies with coarse shreds or foreign material, though most customers consider it a transformative, reliable staple for aging equines.

My horse loves it! I put 4 3/4 scoops mixed with warm water to cover, soak for 15 min, then I add her supplements, stir and she eats it up like it’s the best thing in the world!

Purchased this to add to our mini horses diet as he had lost weight with a dental issue. We added this and the certified Timothy pellets. He absolutely loves these products and has improved his body condition. We will be regular customers from now on.

Not just for horses

My flock of ewes lambs this spring and the caloric needs of my older ewes was more than what hay and grain could supply. I decided to supplement with beet sheds that I rehydrated. After a month of feeding standlee beet sheds, my older ladies are maintaining good weight even while continuing to nurse their lambs. Bonus is the lambs like it as well.

Quality beet pulp shreds

Laredo 1994

:changed brands due to extreme dusting with other beet pulp shreds: Our 32 year old gelding does so well with Standlee beet pulp shreds as long as they are soaked in warm water before mixing with his senior feed....it has been a life saver for him as he has been unable to eat hay for 2 years.

Yes, I recommend this product.
