Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise the redesigned litter pan for its improved door design that securely reattaches via built-in holes, resolving past breakage issues. Many appreciate the flip-top lid for convenient scooping and cat access, while reviewers highlight excellent litter containment that keeps surrounding areas cleaner. The roomy interior accommodates larger cats comfortably, and the design works well with standard 13-gallon bags. Several note the enclosure nearly eliminates odors when paired with odor-controlling litter. A few mention initial confusion about the hood-only sale, but overall customers find it reliable and repurchase it frequently.

Plastic is NOT odor resistant

Cinna

Pros: Less than 4 inch heigh entry which is what I needed for my bunny. Flap can be removed, Off-white, light color Roomy enough so he can go potty at one end with his hay staying clean at the other end Cons: Cheap thin plastic that is NOT odor resistant, which makes the litter box NOT useable. I use both pee pads and paper litter, so pee is never actually touching the surface of the litter box. And, I change it each time he uses it. But, after two months, the litter box reeks of stale urine. The smell of urine has gotten absorbed into the plastic. Bunnies have an acute sense of smell and he will not use it anymore. In the 5 years I have had him, we have never had this issue with any of the name brand litter boxes we have used.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Doesn’t work for me

Jessica

I used the petco chat help to purchase this as I was a little worried about the measurements and didn’t want to waste my time. They assured me this would fit my litter box I already had at home by the same brand. This was shipped and did not fit. I went to return it in store and they couldn’t figure out how to return it for me so they did it without a receipt even though I had my order number. They would only return it for $33 even though I paid $40. So I wasted my time and spent $7 to waste my time. I literally hate petco especially when compared to chewy. They suck.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good litterbox lid

Crunchy peanut butter

This litter box lid is huge. There is plenty of space for your cat and the handle on top makes it easy to change the litter. The door on the front prevents any odor from escaping. The only downside in that it does not come with a pan.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Large enclosed litterbox gives our cat privacy.

My cats love using this litterbox. Although we had to remove the flap as one of our elder cats refuses to push the flap. It is really easy to clean. I like that it is large enough for the cats to get in and move around to find a spot to do their business.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great overall, I just wish it came with a tray.

Great top with versatility for an array of tray depths, I just wish it came together with a tray. I feel it would be more functional if they did not have to be purchased separately. I do appreciate how accessible the lid is, my older felines are capable of using the swing door without trouble despite not being used to an enclosed litter box.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I love this so much it is so sturdy and functional! It doesn't fit the bottom that we have but that's completely my fault and now I'm going to get the matching bottom because the design is so great for cleaning.

Yes, I recommend this product.

What are the actual/exact measurements of the XL sized hood? I ordered a different one (different company) and the dimensions listed in their description ("product dimensions") were way off from actual. Had to return it. Now I have trust issues. LOL

  1. 24 days ago
It is 22 1/2" long, 17" wide (at bottom rim where it attaches to the lower half) and 12 " high. I took it off to measure it!

I have a SoPhresh Large litter box bottom. They should state what litter box bottom from SoPhresh that this top fits. The front of my SoPhresh litter box bottom has a dip in it for access, but I don't see an extension of this litter box lid that matches

  1. 6 months ago
I think it's called the So Phresh "open" litter box. In the description it should say which bottom and top are compatible. There is a large size bottom and top and also an extra large size bottom and top, so you have to get the same size of both too.

does this work with so phresh high back litterbox (large)?

  1. 9 months ago
No. The back is not high enough and my cats pee and it goes right through.

Does this lid/hood fit the SoPhresh stainless steel open litter box in size large?

  1. 9 months ago
Probably not. It is made to fit the plastic So Phresh bottom pretty exactly. My experience is no lids ever fit another bottom than the one it is designed for.

How do I get a replacement door? The lid is just fine and buying a whole new lid would be wasteful and expensive.

  1. 1 year ago
Hi, Unfortunately, replacement doors are not sold separately for this model. Thanks.

Hi Sb253, Good day! Unfortunately, this hood will not fit the Tidy Cats Breeze litterbox. Thanks,
