I think a lot of people see the “Contactless” and think that it is WiFi controlled but it’s never advertised as that. They fixed the issue where the heater cannot be picked up with your phone by including a new bracket. NFC does require some proximity and the mount fixes this. The heater calibration is simple and it heats my tank quickly and efficiently. Peace of mind with the warranty and the quality of the heater. Super simple.

Doesn't connect to phone unless put of water. Plus Doesn't always connect. So regular temp check aren't possible

Do not buy!! Absolutely do not buy! This thing almost cooked my fish only noticed because I have a camera in my tank in the matter of 2 hours it had raised my temp from 78 to 85 degrees thank god I was able to make it home and unplug the heater or else by the time I got home from work my fish would have all been cooked

Bought it a little over a month ago. It almost cooked my fish. I just happened to get a new thermometer so I was trying it out and noticed the water felt very warm. It read 87 on the new thermometer. I didn’t believe it. I thought the thermometer was no good. It was right. This thing is garbage. Tricky to use. Unreliable. Dangerous. Don’t do it.

I don’t like that there’s no dial on the unit so you have to rely on the app which sucks. It takes forever to scan for the device if it ever successfully does it. I do not recommend this product. I’m so disappointed in SICCE because I have used their pumps and they’re some of the best ones out there. Not this product though.

This is the stupidiest tank heater I have ever purchased. I am returning it asap. If you change the temp you have to pull out the heater and scan with nfc. If you want to see the temp of the heater you have to pull it out and scan it for nfc. DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME BUY THIS NFC heater.

I set it to 77 and found my tank at 83F and still heating. It was in a spot with good flow. Even tried the app calibrating thing and it warned me I reached the max adjustment. Would work great to boil some eggs.

I bought this heater about 4 months ago waaayyy over price!! It is not worth the cost by any means!!! Also it is in no way at all "contactless!" In fact you have to take it out of the water every single time you want to view or change ANYTHING!!! Unlike my Bluetooth light that I nly had to connect to ONE time, and as long as I have internet it works fine every single time!! This product is very misleading and most definitely false advertisement! And to top it off not only does it have to be taken out to scan everytime, the scanner also sucks so bad that it wont even read 98% of the time! I have never had such a negative experience with a fishtank heater, EVER!!! I do not and will not ever recommend this, not even to my worst enemy!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TRASH! I wish I would have came to the reviews first because I only paid the ridiculous amount it cost because I thought it would be great and completely contactless!! Learned my lesson real quick! However, I am giving it 1 little star because it does keep my fish tank at proper temperature.At least they got that right because the math doesn't even math with the rest of this HIGHLY stressful, pain in my 🍑, not smart at all, lying, tube of heat!!!!!!!!!!
