STAY AWAY
This thing is major trash. Had it hanging on a 10 gallon hospital tank for less than 2 weeks and has already fried. Would absolutely not trust this filter.I have never had problems with their return lumps but will never buy this brand of HOB filter

Stops working
Continues to stop working even after cleaning the propeller area. It will work for about an hour and then all of a sudden it stops working. For the price you would think this system would work effortlessly. I do not recommend.

Junk
I ordered this online from Petco and picked it up this morning. I got it set up and plugged it in and it ran for about one minute and then stopped. I really needed it to work because I didn't have a backup option. I tried several things and nothing worked. I will be returning it in the morning. I have been in the aquarium hobby for over 40 years and have used quite a few different Hang on the back filters. My favorite recently has been Seachem Tidal filters. For some reason, I decided to try this because I know that they make really good pumps. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of my time. As always, Petco was fabulous, but I would not waste your money on this piece of garbage.

Amazing filter, it is silent and well designed.
This filter is Amazing! And it is silent! I can't even hear it running. It is well engineered and well made. It's also the quietest filter I've ever heard. I love the advanced cartridges too. Petco also had it on sale for $48. From now on this is the only filter I will use on my tanks. I got it to replace a cheap, Top Fin filter on my 29 gallon tank. The Top Fin filter was loud and rattled and was a cheap piece of junk. This Sicce is so much better.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Best HOB Filter!!
I just bought this to replace my loud filter. I'm impressed with how great the design is. As Sicce promised this is a plug and play unit. It is designed knowing that people will customize their own filter cartridges once they use the provided one by Sicce, or you can simply buy theirs as well. It filters super well and is very silent. Super easy to take apart and clean as well. You forget that you actually have a HOB filter on your tank. I'm excited to use more of these on my future tanks down the road! Its an easy 5 out of 5 starts!
Yes, I recommend this product.
