- just need in a 3 oz can! My cat won’t eat it all in one feeding but also won’t eat it from the fridge… kidney cats are picky! Please consider offering a smaller size

My cats really love this! Only wish it were available in 3-oz cans!! I use half a 5.2-oz can and save the other half for another feeding. I'd give it 5 stars for appeal, but because the size is awkward, I docked it a star. One of my cats won't eat the chunky style (such as D and T which are very similar to each other). The different, and successful paté version is E. Why not make it available in 3-oz cans? So, we use Early Consult for now, hoping Royal Canin will come around to fixing the size problem.

Our cat (15 years old) was diagnosed with kidney disease about 3 years ago. That when we started to use this food. Since then her kidney levels are at the normal range.

My senior cat Ringo loves this pate food. It comes in a 5.1 oz can in a loaf style with a little gravy. I mash it up for him to incorporate the gravy. He's been eating it for 3 weeks along with a little RC renal multi function kibble which he also loves. We tried both this & Hills but he preferred this much more. Ringo is doing very well on this food & I'm glad I found it. I did a lot of reserch for a suitable diet for my cat and I highly recommend this food for renal support.

This cat food is easy to eat for older cats. Very mushy and easy to lick out of the bowl corns.

My vet recommended Hills kidney cat food for Squeakie because she is developing kidney disease, but my cat did not eat it, so we agreed to try this one. So far I am mixing it with the Friskies food she is used to and she is eating it well.

I don't know the answer to this question; however, you can contact Royal Canin's Nutritional Advisors at 800-592-6687 or via their Live Chat function on their website to get the answer. Just as a side note .... my cat doesn't like this particular formulation.
