[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am allergic to cats but I'm not allergic to my cat for some reason, so even though we feed our cat some of the liveclear, I can't speak to if it works with reducing allergens. Cat enjoys the food though.

I changed all of my cats over about 2 months ago because I had a new comer on it. The OGs love it too. Some much so that they have cut back on wet food consumption. Very happy. And still in process of dander and hair reduction but I do see coat improvement. I have two very longhaired cats andone shorthair.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Customer Care

Thank you for sharing how Purina Pro Plan LIVECLEAR Turkey and Rice Formula is benefiting your cats. We're dedicated to providing nutrition that helps pets thrive, and it's great to hear your longhaired and shorthair cats are enjoying it and showing coat improvement.

My senior kitty LOVES this food. My partner says it helps enough with allergies it's worth keeping her on, though we can't confirm to the degree it's helpful as they've gotten their medications sorted. I had to switch from the senior formula and the other salmon formulas as my girl was getting CHUNKY and then I saw the calories in this are much more reasonable; feeding her smaller amounts of the other had her vomiting bile between meals. Haven't really noticed many benefits for my cat; she still struggles w/ dry skin, sheds regularly, etc, coat isn't shinier or softer or anything like that, still occasionally vomiting (maybe less than other foods we've tried), but the anti-allergen benefits for people are why we're keeping her on it, otherwise would recommend a cheaper food. Knocking 1 star because PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make these bags resealable!

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Questions

I usually mix two different bags of food together. One is for hairball/urinary care and the other is a quality brand of indoor cat food. If I mix the LiveClear with the hairball/urinary food, would I still see the benefits of allergen reduction?

Thank you for asking this great question. In order to gain the full effect of Purina Pro Plan Allergen Reducing LIVECLEAR Turkey and Rice Formula Indoor Dry Cat Food you would need to solely feed this one formula. Mixing with another formula would loss the effectiveness of this formula. Thank you for your patience waiting for our response. - The Pro Plan Team
