Description

PREVICOX (firocoxib) Chewable Tablets is a veterinary prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to control pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis (OA) in dogs. This chewable barbeque-flavored tablet is also approved to help control postoperative pain and inflammation following soft-tissue or orthopedic surgery in dogs. PREVICOX anti-inflammatory comes in easy-to-give barbecue flavored chewable tablets. With consistent once daily administration for OA relief, most dogs show improvement within days. PREVICOX now comes in a new bottle with the same formula. The tablet's new quarterable design allows the tablet to be divided into four pieces, making it easier to adjust the dose, in a more precise way, to your dog's weight, improving convenience and cost-effectiveness. Talk to your veterinarian about including PREVICOX anti-inflammatory as part of your dog's OA treatment plan to help relieve their pain and inflammation.

Still waiting for Rx

Frown

I ordered the meds for my dog and 3 days later I get an email that petco is unable to get a hold of my vet. I contacted my vet the day before to confirm status and they stated they had not received fax or email with any requests from petco. There is obviously no communication. Also, I had to continue to wait while my dog is still in pain. So I had to cancel the prescription and go take it to Walmart and await another 4 days as I’m still waiting for the meds.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have been using Frontline Plus since I adopted Lucy 3 years ago. She spends a lot of time outside playing in the yard. Never had a flea or tick !

To protect all our dogs from fleas and ticks, we still use this every month, and have done so for over 15 years. It's never let us (them) down, and believe me, we do need it here especially against the ticks in So. Illinois. So we plan to continue with the treatments in future too.

I have always used Frontline because I believe it is safer than oral products. It is easy to administer and has always kept my dogs safe. I am against using oral products because they may cause damage to internal organs.

I have used Frontline Plus for over 25 years and I've never had a problem with fleas or ticks or any side effects. I have Jack Russell Terriers that want to be outside to run when it is nice and lay in the grass. Follow the directions applying in one area where it says to and you should have no issues. Remember bathing your dog often can reduce the potency of product, I bathe my dog once at the end of the month a couple days before I have to reapply and use wipes to spot clean in between baths. You may live in an area where ticks/fleas are more plentiful than the Midwest where I am and have need for Frontline Gold. Frontline is always improving their products for your pets needs>
