Such a disappointment! I bought this tree for my cats about one year ago at another retailer.. They loved it so much I wanted to invest in a second one. Things sure have changed in just one year. The company is cutting back on everything, I guess for more profit in their pocket. All of the scratching posts have been downsized. The first tree post were 12" around. This one is only 9" around. All perches seem to be cut back close to one inch. Just cheap. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Love this cat tree!! I did throw about 80 pounds of stabaluzibg weight on the bottom as a precation - but the design and constuct and not hugely oversized made it all worth it! Its also not in a corner and i have 2 very active cats! I was afraid it would be too tall - but not at all! I love it!!

If you want a nice, sturdy cat tree that can accommodate many cats then get this.

Both my cats love this tree. They are always playing or sleeping on it. It was very easy to put together and seems sturdy.

This is probably the finest cat tree the I’ve ever purchased. It is incredibly sturdy, with a thick and heavy base and thick platforms. While fairly stable, I’ve secured it to my wall with an anchor strap from my cat’s previous tree. However, if you are able to place it in a corner you could likely ignore this precaution altogether. Second of all, the carpet used has a high pile and is substantial. This is the preferred scratching material for my cat, and this should hold up for some time, unlike the material used on our last tree. The sisal rope on the posts also seems high quality if that is your cat’s preferred scratcher. Assembly was an incredibly simple 3-minute operation and required no tools at all. Some strength is required to lift it out if the tall box that it ships in, as it weights about 60 pounds, I believe. The half pipe platforms could stand to be a little longer, they’re only about a foot long each and don’t allow my 11-pound cat to stretch out to sleep. I found no evidence of any protruding staples as mentioned in another review. Finally, this sucker is tall, a full 6 feet to the upper half pipe. My cat finds dismounting a little tricky so far, as the shorter mid-level half pipe is hard for him to reach as he’s climbing down, but perhaps he’ll figure it out as we’ve only had it a couple days. I feel this purchase was well worth the money and should hold up to several years of scratching and climbing.

Super happy with whole transaction, shopping speex, and ease of putting it together .. my boys took right to it

Poor quality but I’m glad it’s tall. I wish I could return it but it was a bad experience getting it that I can’t image the hoops to return it

Was easy to assemble and the cats were using it almost immediately.
