This collar does exactly what I need it to do. Both of my dogs were completely trained within 10 minutes. I even have patches of thick trees within my boundary and even though the premier pet rep told me on the phone that the collar probably wouldn't work under the trees... it totally does. This is extremely affordable compared to other gps collars. No subscription or phone apps required.

We're so sorry that you and your dog had this experience, Mark. It is crucial to mention that if your dog was indoors, this would likely be due to signal interference that can occur within buildings. If the collar loses signal, it has no way of knowing your dog has not left the boundary and will activate accordingly- for this reason, we do recommend GPS collars always be removed indoors. This a great product and great price just wish it had an app to look at the gps or look at the fence.

I bought this to keep my dog within my property boundaries and it has worked great. I no longer have to worry about him wandering on to other people's property. Easy set up and can be used wherever I go.

Bought this yesterday, I have open skies but gos only gets 2 bars and you need at least 3 for it to work, sending back,very disappointed in this product

We bought this and use it for our dogs who kept breaking out. It does work. We use the shock feature to keep them in a boundary area. So far they have stayed. When they do break out, now they wind up circling back to the centerpoint after being shocked. There are a few things to note. 1. When you charge the collar (which is needed daily), you will need to press the power button after putting it on your dog before sending them outside. This ensures it’s on. 2. We had issues with worse shocks when the dogs were in the rain, and so I’d not recommend it for use in rain.

In situations where your dog's neck is very wet, however, if the collar activates your dog may feel the sensation across a larger area of skin- not that the sensation is stronger but may if anything feel a bit lighter as it is distributed further across their skin. I bought this a week ago. For four days it was great. On day five, I ran outside when my dog screeching in pain. Her neck had burn marks, melted skin, and fur sloughing off. She was nowhere near the boundary. She’s a forty pound dog, and I had the collar set to the small dog setting. There’s no excuse for this.
