Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this toy for its powerful catnip scent, with most reporting their cats play, kick, cuddle, and fight over it repeatedly. Many repurchase because their cats refuse other toys, and reviewers highlight dramatic changes in older or picky cats. However, some customers with highly active cats report the fabric tears quickly, spilling catnip within minutes or hours. A few note their cats showed no interest or found the scent more minty. Despite durability concerns for aggressive players, most customers consider it highly effective and worth repurchasing.

I have been buying this toy for many years. First time my boy squinted his eyes and walked away from the toy. Very sad day this is his favorite toy.

My cats really like it BUT within minutes of opening it, it already has kitty teeth punctures. I’m not sure how long it’ll last. I wish it was made with a more durable material.

This product has undergone a rebrand and the supplier is now shipping a fake product. It smells strongly of mint, not catnip, and the cats are repelled by it. A quick sniff and they squint and flick their paws as they walk away. Petco needs to address this with the supplier. Will be returning.

Something has changed. Cats have loved these in the past. They wouldn’t go near the new ones. Returned.

Fan favorite in our house. We own three, the first one that is well loved, and two new ones for backup. This is our cat Kurts favorite toy. Its full of catnip and is a great kick-toy. He loves chasing it, kicking it with his back feet, and licking it. He sometimes shares with is little sister Lucille. We love this toy because it brings happiness to our boy.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this toy about a month ago as a post-New Year gift for my kittens. My boy DESTROYED it in less than one day! I was fooled by the tough-looking synthetic fabric; he chewed a couple of huge holes in it, and now the catnip is leaking out onto the floor. It was expensive, so I am going to try to salvage it by making a denim cover for it. Do NOT be fooled like I was, save your money and get creative. In general, I am finding that most commercially-produced cat toys DO NOT LAST. The companies are more interested in getting you to buy more and more replacements than they are in making a good quality toy that will last.

No, I do not recommend this product.
