It is important to mention that most pump issues can be resolved very quickly with a few troubleshooting steps. <br /><br />If you still have your prior pump and have not yet done so, we would recommend fully disassembling the pump into four pieces, scrubbing all four pieces under warm water with soap, adding a dab of food safe oil (olive oil, etc.) to the propeller blades of the final removeable piece, fully reassembling the pump and submerging it in water, then plugging it in. This resolves most pump issues, even for pumps that make no noise at all when you plug them in and appear completely "dead". <br /><br />If you still have difficulty after trying these steps, please reach out to our live support team. Difficult to keep clean
Sadly I found this water fountain extremely difficult to keep clean. No matter how many times I’d check it and open it up to clean it, the black sponge part would just get so embedded with mildew and slime. Along with the amount of areas and crevasses there are to clean, it’s just a nightmare.. I’m going to be switching to a completely stainless steel option with fewer nooks and crannies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Influenster and PetSafe in exchange for my honest review. I’ve had this fountain for quite some time now and I have 0 complaints. It’s a decent size, it’s easy to clean, it’s quiet. Filters are easy to replace. Both my cats and dogs love it, Linus especially.

It was a great product at FIRST! bought March 2025 and now in September 2025 it has completely stopped working. i bought the correct filters, regularly clean it and this still happened. now i am very flustered because i mostlikey have to buy them a new cat fountain :((( very discouraging because this was the first cat fountain my fur babies weren’t afraid of.

It's very likely this can be resolved right away with a few quick troubleshooting steps. <br /><br />Though you have recently cleaned your fountain, please disassemble your fountain, and disassemble the pump itself into four pieces following the directions in your manual. Once this is done, even if you've done so recently, scrub all four pieces of the pump thoroughly under warm water with soap, particularly the cavity where the magnet rests inside the pump. Once this is done, add a dab of food safe oil (olive oil, etc.) to the white propeller blades of the last removeable piece, fully reassemble the pump, fully immerse it in water, and plug it in. It should come on right away. If it does not, please have a clear picture or screenshot of your receipt or order record with you and reach out to our live support team. <br /><br />Our number is 1-800-732-2677, and our hours are Monday through Friday 8 A.M.- 7 P.M. Easy to use

Self-protecting fountain
I've tried several different pet fountains over the past few years. This one works more efficiently and lights up to tell you when water is low -- which saves it from death by dehydration, a valuable attribute!

Not worth the money
This water fountain was great while it was working properly but after about 3 months the pump was just not working anymore. Even with regular cleaning and the provided filter the pump because to gunked up to pump water.
I might also add it was a pain to clean.
At $25, I just don't think it is worth it, you can get something off of Amazon for cheaper that will last you just as long if not longer.
