My boyfriend and I recently got a kitten and I wanted to use an electric litter box to minimize odors and mess. At first it worked great. My kitten loved it. However after 3 months of use the rake no longer works. My kitten now doesn’t like to use the litter box because the sound of the rake became his queue to go, he’d watch the litter box rake and then go after it was done. I’m very disappointed in the quality of this product. I knew it was a cheaper automatic litter box but was hoping I’d get at least a few years out of it.

Both the litter box and litter trays dont last long. Purchased mine a few months ago and over time it seems to have gotten weaker and weaker. My cats are using the box per their normal routine and it went from being depleted after 20+ rounds to 15+ rounds to 10+ rounds to now its stalling at 8 rounds of raking. The litter usage/condition doesnt look any different, so I dont know why it's stalling at a faster rate. General FYI on tray usage rate: I use mine for 2 senior cats and I have to change my tray at least once a week.

Disgusting! I had the original PetSafe Scoop Free litter box and it worked great for about 9 years. I bought the new one and I am returning the 2nd one today. The urine leaks through in one day and destroyed my wooden floors!!!!! I have to pack it up now and return it to the store, but first I have to take a shower I have that urine smell on me, this is DISGUSTING! How can this company allow this to happen, I have spent a fortune on the litter and the machine and it does not work, SERIOUSLY DISGUSTING!

It leaks constantly making it just as much work as a manual litter box for a much higher price. It doesn’t mask odor at all. I had a similar version for years that I loved but this one is not it. Looking for alternatives.
