Bought this when our crystal litter box that we had for years finally wore out. This one barely lasted a year. We are a multi cat household and this litter box can’t handle it. Ended up scooping and emptying everyday anyway.

I have purchased 2 of these within the last 2 yrs. Both broke right after the 1 yr warranty was up. Same issue on both of them w/ the rake/track both times and I am now out approx $600. I could have gotten a litter robot for the money I feel like I have wasted. Do NOT buy one of these. I should never have purchased the 2nd one with hopes that the first one breaking was a fluke. I wanted to stick with what my cats have used their entire lives but now I am not sure what to do. Was a Litter maid user for many many years but those are now obsolete. At least they were affordable! So very disgusted with this company and product.

Poorly made, rake keeps coming off the track and jamming part way through operation now the rake will not lock into place and no replacement parts no where to be found very expensive only to last 3 years.

It start stopping after 3 weeks and hanging up litter is not even to the max fill line and then the light starts blink or turning red wish I had my 300.00 back. Too expensive for it to not work

We have two of these. They work ok. The two main issues with them are 1) it wastes litter find more loose litter vs the clumps in waste basket. 2) They jam all the time. Annoying having to watch them and clear jams on the daily. I do not understand why your replaced the older version the simply clean cat litter box with this one. the older version never jammed lasted 10 years. we had two of them too and both lasted 10 years. They wasted NO cat litter. It was a flawles efficient design. This model is a downgrade and inferior design. I do not expect it to last as long. This new model is one of your biggest mistakes. Wish there was a way to bring the old model back.

I purchased three of these liter boxes and gave one to my son and one to my daughter and kept one for myself. Within a couple of months my so tossed it into the trash because his two cats caused the liter to smell within a week and needed to be replaced too often and is expensive. My daughter also stopped using hers because she has a large cat that simply did not fit well enough into the space and she also complained that two cats consumed the liter and it started to smell way too soon. I have been using the liter box for three plus years now with a reusable tray and a cover you can buy. The liter is generally okay but when it tracks and it will track, the crystals are large and the are like stepping in legos with bare feet. The crystal liter also does not last as long as claimed. I own an 8 lb cat and would say it starts to smell wiring 7-10 days before it needs to be either scooped or stirred to move the clean crystals out of the holding ray for the poo and move them so they. Can soak up the urine. My cat goes in the same place everytime and that spot gets saturated. The mechanism is okay and has not broken down or needed repair. It is fairly easy to clean with Clorox wipes when the poo gets in the sides. The size is too small in my opinion and the liter tray is too shallow. My cat is always scratching at the bottom. I give this two stars because it works okay but not a scoop free system as claimed. It does not work with clumping liter as it would need to be scooped daily. You must use the crystal liter. If I were to make recommendations to the designers, I would make the tray much deeper and make the disposal section much larger so it actually holds more poo as the small section fills up pretty fast. If you would like an automated liter box, this one is inexpensive and works well for a week with one cat before you start to smell it. The liter is expensive, but does a good job. Clean up is pretty easy using the reusable tray.
