Sadly I found this water fountain extremely difficult to keep clean. No matter how many times I’d check it and open it up to clean it, the black sponge part would just get so embedded with mildew and slime. Along with the amount of areas and crevasses there are to clean, it’s just a nightmare.. I’m going to be switching to a completely stainless steel option with fewer nooks and crannies.

5 dogs of all sizes love it. Took a minute for the smaller ones to get used to it.

Do not buy! I purchased this and it kept leaking from the bottom. It ruined my hardwood floors. I didn’t overfill it and didn’t see any cracks. Worst purchase. Avoid!

My cats love the bubbler fountain and it’s quiet. I love how it has a red light to indicate low water and the ambiance blue light is a nice nighttime feature. Over all I don’t recommend this product. Invest in something better because this fountain is MESSY. Water is constantly leaking and I’m always refilling it every few hours because it leaks all over the floor. I’ve read the trouble shooting errors and what to do to fix them and nothing works. I bought two fountains and they both leak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PetSafe is an okay water fountain. I like that it filters the water and turns red when it needs to be refilled. I don't like the noise factor, and it is difficult to refill from the top without spilling, and if you remove the lid, it's hard to line back up the tube.

I was afraid our cats would play with the fountain instead of drinking from it but that hasn’t been the case at all. It holds a decent amount of water. The light on the front turns red when it’s time to refill. It’s virtually silent! We’d definitely recommend this to everyone with cats!
