When it works, it's fantastic. But durability has been a major issue. We bought the unit and 2 collars. One collar stopped working within 6 months. It was replaced under warranty. Now the second collar is not working, and the already replaced collar is acting up, as well. I guess we will have to explore the other, more expensive brands and hope they hold up better.

I bought this for my two large sized dogs that live on 2.5 acres of property. It does not work. We have tried countless times walking the property and changing the area line for the collar and nothing has worked. We will set the shock line a little before the fence, and it will shock them WAY closer than it’s set to. On the other hand, we will try to correct it / put it exactly on the fence line and it just won’t go off. I would not recommend this collar at all. It has been an expensive, useless hassle.

So initially I was so excited to be able to afford this for all three of my dogs and not just one. Setting it up and adjusting the fence boundary was a breeze. But as soon as the collar battery started to go dead and I recharged it then It started admitting a warning tone while inside of the boundary. I had to reset the collar. And this has happened basically every time one of them has to be recharged. So beware. I am probably going to go back to my other pet safe wireless containment fence that I had previous I never had any complaints about it.

This product has been a Godsend for my escape artist. We have a completely fenced back yard but he can dig or squirm through the tiniest opening. He has nearly gotten himself killed, and our other dog, who won’t leave the yard by himself, will tag along for the adventure. We have a full acre lot, so this system gives both my dogs plenty of room to enjoy the yard without escaping. So why not five stars? Because we have a lot of trees. When it’s overcast, or if our internet isn’t sending out its strongest signal, the collars don’t respond as well as they should. And there have been a couple of occasions where the collars randomly beeped and vibrated when they are nowhere near the digital fence line. Thankfully, both our guys have learned the boundaries and when they are wearing the collars, they now know not to go too close to the fence and have not escaped. So even if it can be a bit inconsistent, the overall effect has kept them confined. Praying it continues!

Collar is nice and fits well. The problem is connecting to the base and updating, it takes forever and even with the app, collar and base right next to each other it still doesn’t work well. When we got it once connected the collar did what it should but we then had to change the fence and that took forever.
