What is the difference between the 'PetSafe Drinkwell Premium Carbon Replacement Filter, 3 Pack' and the 'Petsafe Drinkwell Premium Carbon Replacement Filter for Cats, Pack of 12' The appear to be the same thing, but the price difference is significant.
- They are identical, except for the price and packaging. Each filter is individually sealed in a plastic sleeve and all twelve come in a small cardboard box. There is no difference between the filters.

Are replacement pumps available for the original petsafe fountain?
- I would suggest you contact the company that makes the fountains directly. I would imagine it depends on how old your current pump is. Mine is very old so doubt if they would. However, I would contact them before I bought a new one.
