Would this kitty door work on a pocket door?

What is the maximum door depth this little cat interior tunnel door can be installed in? Will it fit a door that's 2 inches thick? Thanks.

Is it avaliable with a plastic-flap between the frame? I love the design, but I don't like the idea of a hole in my door without the flap.

My door looks like this door but it's hollow core..wouldn't it compromise the stability of the door cutting bottom frame? Would you recommend installing in the hollow part..or is this not recommended for hollow door?
