This shark costume is absolutely adorable! My Miniature Schnauzer is about 20 lbs and I got him a size Medium, which fits him perfectly. It was easy to put on, stayed in place well, and he was still able to walk and move around comfortably. The material is really soft and plush, and I love all the little details—the fins, tail, and shark hood are so cute. The bright blue looks especially adorable against his white coat and photographs really well. It’s such a fun costume for Halloween, and I love that it’s soft enough that he seems comfortable wearing it. Definitely recommend!

The Destroyer is just under 6 lb. and when it comes to costumes, she has preferences. She doesn't really want them to have sleeves and she doesn't much like anything that constrains her giant ears. That's part of why I've learned to go to this sort of design for lightweight coats and dress-up for her. There's a hook and loop fastener around the front of her chest and another hook and loop fastener that goes underneath her chest. There are no arm holes to try to get her legs through and nothing to try to keep on her head. The costume itself is cute, even if, at least in the XS, it doesn't quite look like the advertising photo. In reality it's not as shiny and the back fin is a different shape and isn't nearly as upright. The costume doesn't really sit as nicely over The Destroyer's haunches and back as in the product photo. It very easily slips to one side or the other over The Destroyer's back. That said, the straps on the XS fit as expected—based on past experience with this brand—not too tight or too loose. And it's at least substantial enough to work well as a jacket for The Destroyer on the chilly days around Halloween, which is always a bonus.

“I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review.” This has got to be one of my most favorite things I've gotten from Petco. It doesn't fit my girl, unfortunately, but the size is on the tag and has measurements. It's pretty well made, with stuffing to hold the shape of the costume so it doesn't get floppy. It has a cut-out for a leash, which is super convenient. The underside is a simple but strong Velcro closure. I really wish this had fit (I didn't get a chance to look at the actual sizing before getting it) which is my fault. And for $20? It's adorable and can be reused for several years!

This shark costume would be adorable for a dog about 10 pounds smaller than mine. Despite being an XL, it barely fit my 60 pound pocket Weimaraner. It looks like she was attacked by a small shark trying to eat her head when she wears this. Neither of my dogs was impressed. It gets four stars anyway because it is well made, and - if it fit - would be adorable. Either way, she would look like the shark was trying to eat her, but at least if it was the right size it would look like a fair match. The fabric is soft, and the stitching and velcro are strong. I just wish these costumes and clothes came in actually larger sizes with accurate size charts.

I bought the XL size for my small (90 lbs) Bernese Mountain Dog. It was tiny. So, I tried it on my other do who is 50-60 lbs. It was still too small. I guess my definition of XL is different than the manufacturer. The quality seems good though and would be cute if I could find a dog small enough to wear the XL.

I tried this on my smallest cat. When I ordered the preview of this costume, I wasn't able to see a size chart or pick any other size besides a small. I got this intending it for one of my larger male cats, but I could barely get the neck and belly strap to patch on my smaller female. I love the holographic material though. Just pay attention to the sizing and measure your pet first.

This shark costume is fantastic! The quality is as good as a high-end human costume. It fits my dog really well. I ordered a 3xl, which would think it might be too big for my 120-pound dog, but it is not. The head part is well padded and soft. Very well made.

We decided on getting the large one. It fit both of my dogs who are about 50 lbs. it has Velcro to fasten it around their neck and stomach area. It stayed on really when when we walked around. It is a cute costume for Halloween!
