For being labeled "small", this is a decent size toy and very cute. I got it for my ~70lb pit mix and it was only a bit small for her (she likes smaller squeaky toys). It'd be a great size for medium dogs or heavy-chewing smaller dogs who need larger toys. My dog lives to destroy rubber toys so it only took about 10 minutes for her to gnaw one of the fins off (on par with Chuckit balls and most other toys). It was a happy 10 minutes of squeaking and flailing around in her favorite bed gnawing on it. I was pleasantly surprised to find it's made with pretty thick rubber. It should hold up to a light chewer for a lot of play. My only small gripe is that the packaging required pliers to extract the plastic bits that broke off when I tried to pull them out. A zip-tie around the tail or something would have been easier.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear this toy provided plenty of entertaining playtime and held up well for your household.

The Petco Salmon Rubber Chew Dog Toy is a fun and humorous toy but is a bit harder that I expected. I guess that means its durable but not as gentle of a toy I typically prefer to my pets. But nonetheless a fun durable toy to have fun with.

We truly appreciate your perspective and are grateful to be part of your pet’s playtime.

I wanted to love this little fish. The design is so cute and the squeaker was a tolerable volume and not overly tempting to my dogs. However, the rubber it's made of is pretty thin and my 17lb boy was able to chew off a fin within 5 minutes of regular level chewing. If your dog is very gentle with toys this may work, but any sort of consistent chewing I would avoid it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I did not think my dogs would like this, but I was wrong..They love it! It’s super tough if you have Toy destroyers like I have. This fish is smallish, but strong even my 70 pound pit mix love it. Happy with it.

We are delighted to hear that the Petco Salmon Rubber Chew Dog Toy has been such a hit in your home! Our team is dedicated to offering durable, engaging products for pets of all sizes. Thank you!

This little fish is so unique in appearance and texture! My MiniAussie (aka American) Shepherd has not stopped playing with it for days now! She’s really tough on toys but this one has only experienced minor damage in spite of some really vigorous attention. Usually she decimates a toy within hours but this is one tough little mackerel! Pix show new and after some days of serious loving. I’d buy this again as it’s worth the expenditure.

Yes, I recommend this product.
