I wouldn't necessarily say this is a bad plush kicker, however, I tried it with two different cats and they weren't that excited. When was 10, years old and the other one was 5 years old . I have to say that I live in the desert and it's very hot right now, so it's possible they just don't have the energy to play with it right now. It has crinkle paper in it which initially was a surprise to them, but they didn't really seem to play with it or kick it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hi Sandra, thank you for sharing your experience with the Petco Salmon Plush Kicker Cat Toy. We appreciate you giving it a try with both of your cats and sharing your observations about how they interacted with it. If you’d like additional help with this product, our team is available at petco.com/contact-us.

Love this toy—perfect for my doodle boy! It’s technically made for cats, but I chose this one for my dog, and he absolutely loves it. He plays with it and chews on it constantly. The quality is pretty good—it’s held up surprisingly well despite all the chewing. It’s also a great size for a large dog; I’d consider the “medium” size a good fit for them.

Yes, I recommend this product.

All three of my cats loved this salmon fish kicker toy! It's cute, crinkly, and just the right size. They can hold it, kick it, bite it, bat it, and throw it around. My kitties were quite impressed with such a simple toy. And did I mention it's kind of adorable?

Cats really enjoyed this toy - it crinkles and is a good size for a bigger toy - neither of these cats are big on playing with toys but actually played with this one - the one keeps grooming it which is funny

Hi Melody! We're glad the Petco Salmon Plush Kicker Cat Toy was a hit with your cats and encouraged them to play. Our team aims to provide fun, engaging toys that keep cats entertained and active. Thank you!

My cat absolutely loved his new toy! It's made with a thick enough material so it won't tear or rip quickly, and it made this nice strucky sound that makes him excited to play. A kicker toy is always a good add for any cat.

Customer Care

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Lesly. We are pleased that your cat enjoys such a durable and engaging plaything.

My cat's and my only complaint was that it needs more catnip. Usually he really loves toys with catnip but there must have not been enough for a good scent. The crinkle noise was a good feature. I think the size was decent enough for a kicker toy. I loved the color palette. The blue is pretty.

Yes, I recommend this product.
