This toy is super fun. The fishing pole is definitely different than the usual toy on a string attached to a stick. The string is pretty long, my cats get good exercise chasing the fish around. It seems well made. I might try swapping a feather toy out for the fish.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hi Deva! We're glad the Petco Salmon Fishing Pole Interactive Teaser Cat Toy has become a new favorite for your cats. Our team aims to provide fun, interactive toys that encourage exercise and engaging play. Thank you!

I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This is a versatile toy for both cats and dogs! The fish is filled with catnip and crinkles, but I can definitely see a dog playing with this as well. It's such a cool toy. It works like a real fishing rod and it's actually fun for humans to play with, too! I've included videos to show how exciting this toy is. #spottedbypetco @petco

This is so fun! It works like an actual fishing pole. It telescopes out and you can cast the fish and reel it in. It locks in place so you can have a short or long line. The fish is big enough for them to grab onto and play with. They love it!

This toy is super cute and a good play on a teaser toy. At first, my cat was scared of it because of the casting but once he realized it was a toy, he was jumping around to get the fish and was doing booty wiggles because he loved it.

Thank you for your fantastic feedback, Kimberly! We strive to provide creative teaser toys that keep cats entertained for hours, and we are thrilled your cat realized how much fun it was.

This fishing pole is big enough for my Maine coons. Has enough “fishing line” to go a ways out. The plush salmon toy on the end of the line contains cat nip which is an added bonus. Keeps my cats entertained!

Customer Care

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear the toy is a great fit for your Maine Coons and provides engaging interactive play.

Nicely designed fishing pole with just the right bait for cat fishing. The pole is sturdy but flexible and the line is baited with a fairly large fish. The fish is softly stuffed and makes a crinkle sound when squeezed.

Yes, I recommend this product.
