Great for cats
My cats absolutely love this. They scratch on it every morning when they wake up and file their nails down, so I don’t have to trim them with a clipper nearly as often I would definitely recommend this to cat owners.

Cute, but I wish it was larger.
This cardboard fish scratcher is SO cute, but it's also kind of small for my cats. It is slightly smaller than the rectangle floor ones where you can replace the cardboard, but my cat loves to rest on it, and I think it's because it is like an ergonomic pillow for him. So it's cute, but I do wish it was bigger.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Cute and my cats love it!
One cat, pictured, loves to sit on or around it. The other cat loves to use it as a scratching pad. I love how cute it is and it works with the colors in the living room. We belong to the Spotted by Petco program and received this for free in exchange for a honest review.

Cute Fish scratching cardboard
This is a cute shaped scratching cardboard. If your cats like to scratch cardboard of any shape, they will love this. Unfortunately, my cats seem to only like flat cardboard to scratch, because even after I put the catnip on it, all they would do is sniff it. They wouldn’t really scratch it, but they love their other cardboard boxes they scratch all the time because it’s flat and has no shape to it. But I think that’s just personally my cats, not all cats. I attached pics for size reference.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for your feedback, Michelle. We’re glad to know the scratching cardboard design was appealing even if your cats preferred flat options, and we appreciate your detailed notes. If you’d like additional help with this product, our team is available at petco.com/contact-us.
Cute scratcher for small cats
My cats typically like cardboard scratchers and I was excited to introduce the Petco Salmon Scratcher. The scratcher is well made, with a colorful graphic fish shape design.
For the first few days, both cats were not interested even with the included catnip packet. After spraying with catnip spray, one cat loved to rub himself on the edge of the scratcher. When standing on top, the shape of the scratcher tilts and rocks, which is why I feel my cats avoid it. My cats are both 11 pounds, and the size of the scratcher is small for them, and may be suited to smaller cats.
No, I do not recommend this product.

We're happy to hear that the Petco Salmon Fish Cardboard Cat Scratcher impressed you with its colorful design and sturdy build, though the rocking shape and smaller size may not be ideal for your larger cats. Our goal is to offer engaging scratchers for various sizes and play styles, ensuring all cats can enjoy comfortable enrichment. For further assistance, contact us at petco.com/contact-us.
