Well-made and great color options! This collar is a go-to for leash training or a normal walk that causes a flight response. Theirs no risk of choking while also keeping control and avoiding the infamous collar slip.

I purchased the Petco Martingale Training Chain Dog Collar in Silver, Small, for my dog Mocha, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The collar looks stylish on her white coat and has a nice, sturdy feel. I especially like the martingale design because it provides a little extra control without being overly bulky. Mocha seems comfortable wearing it, and the small size is generally good for her. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars because the fit is a little looser than I expected, especially with the chain, so I wish it had a slightly more snug fit. Overall, it’s a good-quality collar, looks great on Mocha, and works well for training and walks. I would recommend it to other small-dog owners! 🐶💕

Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear this collar has been a helpful option for walks and training.

This collar is very well made and super cute! It does run big! My dog could have used a medium instead of a large but extremely cute! I like the martingale design and the ease of use to get it in and off.

Thank you for your review! We're happy to hear the collar has been a great addition for your pup and that the design has worked well for your needs.

Very nice collar! It is wide and sturdy. It is a little on the bigger side so make sure you measure the dogs neck correctly. I really like the gold chain accents instead of silver. The colors are cute for my white bulldog.

I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This collar is so well built. It's enormous, though! I didn't look at the sizing close enough and it's a Large, but starts at 24" necks! Granted, it's a martingale, so it does cinch up tighter. It's a very heavy metal, but would not be uncomfortable for a dog of this size. The colors are vibrant, playful and full of personality. I'm planning on adopting a Great Dane soon, so this will be the most perfect fit for her. #spottedbypetco @petco

Option 3: Thank you for your review, Jillian! We appreciate your honest note on the sizing, and we are thrilled that the bright colors and sturdy metal design hit the mark.

My in-laws have a pretty rowdy puppy and have tried several types of leash/collar combos. Some worked better than others, but the martingale training collar is by far the best. With the collar bing half chain and half collar band, it's comfortable for the puppy to wear, but provides just enough resistance when needed. Highly recommend

Customer Care

Hi Adam! We're glad the Petco Martingale Training Chain Dog Collar has been such a great training solution for your in-laws' puppy. Our team aims to provide comfortable, reliable products that support positive training experiences for dogs. Thank you!

The collar was way to big to be a large collar. I would say its more like an xl collar. We even tried to make it go as small as it would go but kept falling off of kur dogs neck. I even tried it on my moms pitbull and it was still too large for her neck and she is an xl pitty.

No, I do not recommend this product.
