My kitties both love scratching things they should not so we always need to have things around that they can scratch. This post is unique in that it's side laying rather than the traditional high post type. This is really novel and my cats enjoyed it, they scratch at it but also use it as a toy like a kicker. The younger tabby loves going underneath it and using his hind legs to get that energy out. The older tuxedo girl enjoys just stretching and using her front claws on it. They both enjoy the spring tail that easily twists in and they bat it about. The only downside I can say, is my five year old son says it scares him, lucky for him it's a seasonal item so he is okay with it being out for two months of the year!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for your review! We’re happy this scratcher gives both of your cats their own way to enjoy it.

Super cute scratcher! My cat immediately came to investigate what arrived for him. Normally he is more interested in the box but he actually checked out the scratcher. It’s cute for Halloween as well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for sharing your experience! It's wonderful to know your cat showed interest right away and that this item was a fun addition to his collection. We strive to provide products that keep pets entertained and enriched.

This cat scratching toy is super cute and appears to be well made. It was easy to put together (2 pieces). Unfortunately, my cats don't seem to enjoy it. I would buy this again if my cats did use it. They prefer other scratch toys.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. I really wanted to like this scratcher! I love werewolves and the kids love scratchers so I thought it would be a win. It is well made. But my kids wanted nothing to do with it. Maybe it's the angle of the scratch? On the plus side, it makes a good Halloween decoration.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hi Michelle. We regret this did not work as hoped. If you’d like additional help with this product, our team is available at petco.com/contact-us.

My cats love the cute werewolf design and enjoy playing with it, but the horizontal scratching surface is a miss. They’re used to vertical scratchers and won’t scratch on this one. Adorable, but not practical.

No, I do not recommend this product.
