My cat absolutely loved this scratcher. She is in a phase where she likes to tear up everything, so this is perfect for her. It's a small scratcher that fits on her catio, so I like it's not something too big and practically fits anywhere.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for sharing how much your cat is loving the Petco Halloween Mix & Match Cat Scratch Post Base, Edith. Our team is dedicated to creating thoughtful products that support playful instincts and comfortable spaces for pets and the people who love them. We look forward to being part of many more happy moments ahead.

This is a basic scratching post on the smaller side best for a kitten or small cat. My cat likes this type of scratching post, but unfortunately she didn't get much use out of it because it's too short. You can see how small it is compared to a normal-sized scratching post.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Customer Care

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Petco Halloween Mix & Match Cat Scratch Post Base. We're glad to hear your cat enjoys this style of scratching post, though we understand your disappointment that the size didn't provide the height she needed to get more use out of it. For further assistance, please reach out to us at petco.com/contact-us.

Solid scratching post. The sisal is on there tight so it should hold up during the nonstop scratching my cats have been doing. It's not very large or heavy, so a big cat might be able to pull it over. I did not need the decorative Halloween topper.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This scratching post is pretty great if you have a normal (<10lb) cat. For reference, the buff cat in the photos is ~15lb, and the gray cat ~20lb. Very strudy post! Good quality sisal and carpet. I think for our larger cats, a bit taller would be preferred - but considering the size difference I was surprised how well the post 'stood its ground' when battling our cats lol.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Super easy to put together comes in 3 parts. Cats were happy for a new toy to use especially something to scratch up. Made well and holds up well agaisnt a toddler and 15 cats.. base is soft material while the pole is scrachy materials.

Yes, I recommend this product.
