My cats absolutely love this Petco Halloween Cat Scratch Haunted House! They’re constantly climbing on it, scratching the scratch pad, and entertaining themselves. Both of my cats are always either on top of it or curled up inside. It’s been a big hit with them, and I know they’ll continue enjoying it long after Halloween is over. Definitely a fun purchase for my kitties!

It is so heckin cute!!! My cats took to it immediately which is kind of a surprise since they’re a bit picky. I know for sure this is going to their main play and scratch spot too! Got here just in time for the spooky season

This is a very cute Halloween themed house for your kitties! It’s a good size, both my adult cats can fit on and inside of it, and it’s durable enough to hold their weight. Once I set it up, they immediately were inside scratching away! It also comes with a cute dangling bat toy that they were enjoying sniffing and playing with. My only complaint is that it was really finicky to put together and the pieces don’t quite fit as well as the pictures show. But the cats are still enjoying it a few weeks later and it’s mostly held up considering its made of cardboard. Overall it’s a win!

My cats love this haunted house! It was pretty straightforward to put together and my cats could hardly wait for me to finish it before checking it out. The included catnip definitely kept them engaged and my senior cat particularly enjoys the dangling bat toy. The only thing that could be improved is the decorative peak on the front, it tends to fall out of place. I could fix this with tape but haven’t really felt the need.

My cats absolutely love this! One of my cats is always either sitting on top or inside. And it's very cute! Only thing is that assembly can be a little confusing and the top scratch pad isn't 100% secure but overall, they love it!

My kitties absolutely love this haunted house cat scratcher! Every time I walk by at least one of the cats are enjoying it. I’m normally not very good at setting up anything that you need instructions for… People, furniture, pet furniture, or even cat scratchers like this. But fortunately, this was surprisingly easy to put together! It took me maybe twenty minutes to set up and that’s with some very “helpful” kitties pitching in. lol I did encounter a couple issues setting it up though…. The last step has a small house shaped section that goes on the front of the haunted house. The issue is that the roof section of this piece does not stay on. I checked the directions multiple times and I was attaching it as instructed. It just doesn’t stay on the way that it is supposed to attach. So I had to tape the flaps down and for now that seems to be holding it in place. I will attach pictures showing what I’m referring to. The other issue is that the entire little house shaped section keeps getting knocked out of place as the cats get up and down. You may be able to secure it with some tape, but I have not tried that yet. Fortunately this entire section is not actually necessary for the scratcher to function. The other issue is more serious. The way that the top scratching pad is set up. It’s super easy for a cat to knock it out of place while simply trying to jump up top. The “beams” that support the top scratching pad sit far enough from the front/back that if a cat steps on the edge, It acts as a seesaw and flips it out of place. I fixed this by adding a piece of cardboard on top of the supports and taping everything in place. For the cardboard I just cut up the box the scratcher shipped in. It’s not perfect, but it seems to work well enough and I haven’t had any issues with the top scratching pad since. The issues mentioned above are definitely annoying and do require a little more effort. Which is the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. But besides that, I really like the cat scratcher! It was easy to put together, the cardboard it’s made of is very thick and sturdy, and my cats are completely obsessed with it!! The design and colors are so fun and festive, and absolutely perfect for the fall season! I do still recommend this product. Just know that you might have to put in a little more effort to get the top part stabilized. But once you have that taken care of, I’m sure your cats will be completely obsessed with it just like mine are! Happy haunting!

The house is super cute! It is sturdy enough to handle not only my rough and tumble, very orange, kitten, but also my maine coon mix. The print is vibrant. Assembly was quick and easy. They love scratching the inserts and batting around the cute plush hanging bat.

I bought this for my cat who loves cardboard, she was from a strip mall and equates cardboard with safety. It’s true this has a couple issues, if you do nothing a cat will jump up and the top pivots out. I used double back tape and over all added some clear packing tape to reinforce the top scratcher and all the joints. The other issue is the bottom scratcher does not fully fit, it is about an inch too small on both top and side. Plus the way it folds , the bottom scratcher teeters since it’s uneven with the folds. I used the extra cardboard from shipping to wedge in the base scratcher and used double sided tape to level and adhere things. So in the end it’s super cute and the largest box I could find and my cat loves it. She scratches it up and so far it’s taking the abuse.
