Description
The Silver Tip Tetra is a hardy, energetic freshwater fish admired for its warm golden body and distinctive silver-tipped fins. This active schooling species does best in groups of six or more and thrives in aquariums of 15-20 gallons or larger with stable, well-filtered water and gentle to moderate flow. Silver Tip Tetras are adaptable to a range of water conditions but prefer slightly acidic to neutral parameters and benefit from planted tanks that offer both cover and open swimming space. Peaceful yet lively, they make excellent additions to community aquariums alongside similarly sized, active tankmates. Easy to feed and care for, they readily accept flakes, small pellets, and frozen foods, bringing constant movement and subtle flashes of color to the aquarium.
