Petco Freshwater Fish Rummy Nose Tetra, (Petitella georgiae), Pack of 12
Description
The Rummy Nose Tetra is a striking, peaceful freshwater species known for its bright red head, silvery body, and distinctive black-and-white striped tail. Thriving in groups of six or more, these tetras are best housed in aquariums of 20 gallons or larger with pristine, well-filtered water and gentle flow. They prefer slightly acidic to neutral water and flourish in planted tanks that provide both cover and open swimming space, which encourages their natural schooling behavior. Sensitive to water quality but otherwise hardy, Rummy Nose Tetras are excellent community fish, coexisting with other peaceful species. They readily accept flakes, micro-pellets, and small frozen foods, making them a colorful, active, and captivating addition to freshwater aquariums.
