Description
The Brilliant Head Rummy Nose Tetra is a vibrant, elegant schooling fish prized for its intensely colored red head, shimmering silver body, and sharply striped tail. Like other Rummy Nose varieties, this peaceful species thrives in groups of six or more and requires an aquarium of 20 gallons or larger with excellent filtration, gentle flow, and pristine, stable water conditions. They prefer slightly acidic to neutral water and show their best coloration and natural behavior in well-maintained, planted tanks with open swimming space. Sensitive to fluctuations and poor water quality, they reward attentive care with tight schooling displays and striking visual contrast. Easy to feed, they readily accept high-quality flakes, micro-pellets, and small frozen foods, making them a stunning centerpiece for calm community freshwater aquariums.
