Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this goat milk supplement for supporting orphaned, abandoned, and underfed young animals across multiple species. Most highlight exceptional digestive tolerance with no diarrhea or discomfort, even in fragile newborns, and report visible weight gain and energy improvements within days. Many note animals eagerly consume it after refusing other formulas, and reviewers credit it with saving lives during weaning transitions. The powder mixes easily without clumping, and breeders and rescuers express strong loyalty, stating they will never use another product. A few report rare refusals or isolated quality concerns, but overall customers consider it an essential, highly effective formula.

Saved abandoned puppies

We have been using this for a couple of weeks to feed two puppies abandoned by their mother. They are doing great. This formula has not caused any stomach issues at all. Now we are mixing it with stage 2. They love it. Just wish the can lasted a little longer.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great for baby squirrels!

Kerriness

We found an abandoned baby squirrel and after lots of internet research, they told us to try Goats Milk. The little champ gulped it up and it seemed to have more energy after a few feedings. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we found him a home the same day, so we didn't get to see the long-term effects to really know how well it worked in the long run for him

No, I do not recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 10 of 11 Questions

I was buying this for the puppies, PETCO you guys were selling the 5lbs for $68+, and in one go you raised it to $168. ???? I cant even afford to feed the puppies now. this is so crazy where we jack up the prices that much that quickly. Not sure why :(

  1. Good Morning. Could you please reach out to our Consumer Relations department to provide more information. We would like to know the time frame this price increased occurred. Please contact us at consumerrelations@petag.com.

Is it supposed to be a loosely or more tightly (or somewhere in between) packed scoop/part of powder for every 2 scoops/part water?

  1. I'll mash the scoop, or whatever I'm using to measure the powder, against the can, and then scrape it off level with the edges. I don't press too hard, just enough to make sure the scoop is full. It's also better to make just what you'll need for 24 hours worth of feedings, and ensure you strain it well. A fine mesh syrainer feom Target works very well. Make your daily supply a day in advance so that it can sit. Warm each serving before giving it, but don't microwave it. :)

If I put 2 table spoons of goats milk powder how many ounces of water do I add

  1. The mixing instructions for this product are by "part" rather than weight. For instance the ratio to follow for mixing is 1 part powder to 2 parts water ( same unit of measurement for both water and powder) So if you have 2 tablespoons of powder this requires 4 tablespoons of water ( included scoop in can is a tablespoon) Please reach out to us directly at 1-800-323-0877 or consumerrelations@petag.com for further assistance. Thank you!

I want to give this to my 6 month old pomeranian (5 pounds), I will be adding the goat milk to her solid kibble food. What’s the maximum amount of the goat powder can I give her in a day?

  1. I'm not sure why you want to give this to a 6 month old. It definitely can be added to the dry food and I would give enough to moisten the food. I don't think there is a limit of how much to feed your puppy but I would recommend you consult with your dogs vet. Hope this helpd.

Can i give this to a baby goat?

  1. This product is labeled for puppies, therefore, administering to a goat would be off label use. Please contact us directly at 1 (800) 323-0877 if you have any questions.

Hi, I have a 6 week old puppy and weight 2.8 pounds. It’s a very small Yorkie. How much should I feed him?

  1. Should be eating solid food at 6 weeks, 5 x a day. as much as it will eat. If you still have left over formula, you can add it to the solid food for a couple more weeks and use it to soak the dry food.

Is this raw goats milk?

  1. This product contains dried whole goats milk powder and is formulated to be as close as possible to mothers milk nutritionally for puppies newborn to 6 weeks of age.

Can old dog drink goat milk too? Or just for puppies

  1. This product is intended for puppies newborn to 6 weeks of age but it can be used as a nutritional supplement for puppies that have already been weaned, or for older dogs as well. The recommendation for growing puppies already on solid food, show dogs and/or convalescing dogs: Feed 1 teaspoon (2g) GME powder per 5 lbs. (2.2kg) body weight daily by top dressing food.

Can I use this for kittens? There are no goats milk formulas out there for kittens.

  1. This product is not appropriate for kittens as it would not be nutritionally complete. Kittens require a higher protein concentration in their diet and puppies require higher fats. Please use a kitten milk replacer for kittens and puppy milk replacer for puppies.

What is the shelf life?

  1. Thank you for your question. Please call, email or chat with an agent to get the expiration dating on the product currently being shipped.
