Most describe it as cute and beautiful, noting it enhances tank appearance and creates natural hiding spots for fish. Many express delight watching plants grow from the log, with reviewers mentioning fast growth and daily progress. Bettas and other fish reportedly use it immediately as a refuge, seeming happier and less stressed. A few note the material feels plastic rather than natural, and some report no visible growth initially.
