Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this cat food for exceptional palatability, with even the pickiest eaters eagerly consuming it. The 95% animal-based formulation with bone broth and real meat chunks and shreds is frequently cited as a key reason for satisfaction. Many reviewers report noticeable improvements in coat shine, energy levels, and digestive health. The juicy texture appeals to older and toothless cats alike. A few customers report isolated digestive upset or texture preferences, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by enthusiastic approval across the board.

I bought this for my two cats and within 5 hrs both were throwing up all over, a few days later one cats was not acting right took to vet and somehow she tore her throat and all the good and water she drank went into her area surrounding her stomach and lungs has to euthanize wish I never tried this food my cat would still be alive

Cats have been loyal fans of the original shredded chicken wet cat food for years. They don’t care for the NEW chunks and shredded original wet food that has just rolled out. Can’t get them to actually eat the chunks meat portion. They will only lick the liquid and refuse the meat portion. Not sure what the difference is or why Orijen needed to change it, but apparently this loyal household will have to find a new quality wet food that we can trust.

Care

We're sorry to hear that the ORIJEN Chunks & Shreds, Original Entrée wasn't a hit with your cats! We have a wide range of diets to consider, our Pâté's are still available. If you'd like, please reach out to our Care team at customercare@championpetfoods.com or call us at 877-939-0006 for personalized recommendations.

Every time a big brand aquires a good, small brand they manage to ruin it. My cat likes it but it smells weird like chemicals and looks like overprocessed junk like friskies. Only this costs almost $4 a can. I won't buy this again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cats loved the wet gravy tender chucks. They looked forward to it every evening for supper. They were drawn to the click top and devoured the food. I would put it out by itself or add it to the dry. It has definitely become a routine at the house.
