Description

The FiltoSmart line of premium compact external filters is perfect for marine and freshwater aquariums. This filter uses multi-staged chemical, mechanical and biological filtration which provides an extremely high surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize. These bacteria effectively breakdown debris and waste particles which ultimately results in cleaner, healthier water for your aquarium inhabitants. The inclusion of activated carbon granules optimizes your aquarium filtration by removing toxins and odors. The FiltoSmart filters are engineered with integrated locking features in the inlet/outlet connection unit to ensure no mess maintenance. Other filter features include self-priming for fast and easy startup, adjustable flow control for the inlet and outlet, removable base for added stability, and a carrying handle. Easily integrate an OASE HeatUp adjustable heater into the FiltoSmart canister using a ThermoFit (HeatUp and ThermoFit not included).
