Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this cat food for exceptional palatability, with even picky and elderly cats eagerly eating it. The bone broth coating, salmon-based formula, and grain-free recipe with probiotics and omega fatty acids earn strong approval. Reviewers consistently highlight the resealable Velcro packaging that locks in freshness and prevents odor escape. Most customers report improved digestive health and coat condition. A few note the kibble size runs small, though most find this acceptable. Overall, reviewers express strong satisfaction and intent to repurchase.

I absolutely LOVE the kibble size. Yes, it’s quite small, but my female cat doesn’t have to contort her head sideways to chew it, which she always does with larger kibble. I assume she’s trying to use her biggest teeth, but it doesn’t look natural. She eats more calmly and comfortably now, and she vomits a lot less often. Both of my finicky felines must love the flavor, because they never fail to come running when it hits the bowl, and it’s usually gone when they leave the kitchen. Other food I’ve fed them has tended to be partially consumed and then abandoned. Also, I find that it takes less of the Nulo food overall to keep them satisfied, maybe because it’s higher in protein and more nutrient dense than other options.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Customer Care

We are glad the Nulo MedalSeries Kibble works well for your cats and that the size makes mealtime easier for them. Our team aims to offer quality nutrition that keeps pets happy and satisfied. Thank you!

My cats seem to like the flavor of this kibble but for some reason this brand makes the kibble shape rather small. My cats are not a fan of the small sized kibble, they usually don’t chew the kibble since it is so tiny. The clean ingredients is what initially sold me on this brand but until they make the kibble regular size I won’t buy this brand again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nulo Team

Hello! We are sorry to hear that your cats did not like the size of our kibble. There are several carefully thought out reasons behind the shape and size of Nulo's kibble. Because cats are strict carnivores, they do not have molars to assist in grinding food. Instead, they have teeth that are more equipped for ripping, much like their less domestic counterparts. Additionally, cats do not possess the ability to move their jaws in the same lateral, grinding manner that dogs can. Since cats’ teeth are designed for tearing and shredding rather than crunching and grinding, we designed the small disc shape of our kibble to allow them to be swallowed easily and comfortably without needing to be broken up by chewing. Swallowing small pieces the size of our kibble is actually a very common eating behavior for cats. Our kibble is designed not to expand in the stomach, making this a stress-free practice for your cat! With all of this in mind, our food can better mimic the diet structure that your cat was designed for to provide him/her with the best feeding experience possible! Please feel free to reach out to customercare@nulo.com for any further assistance. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/nulo.png" alt="nulo" title="nulo" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kitty absolutely loved this dry food! She took one sniff and started chowing down! Now whenever she hears me grab the bag she comes running in! It has great ingredients so I know my kitty is getting not only a good snack but great nutrition as well. She really likes that it's Coated with bone broth so not only does she find it delicious but it's easy for her to eat! This is a great, healthy option for your kitties :)
