Great product for my pup. All signs point to the omegas doing their job.

Our veterinarian recommended this for our 13ish year old cat. He LOVES it! I wasn’t sure if it would upset his sensitive stomach so I started with 0.25 mL daily. It’s been one week and he’s doing great!

Most stupid and irritating packaging I've ever seen

The packaging of this product urgently needs to be upgraded. It's a terrible, terrible idea to separate the dropper and the cap. Where am I supposed to store the dropper when I'm done feeding this to my pet? And am I expected to clean the dropper--inside and out--every single time I use it?? Has the person behind this design ever tried to clean an oily dropper??? The packaging makes an otherwise great product extremely inconvenient to use, and now I've simply stopped feeding this to my pet because I don't want to risk contaminating his food with fish oil from a dropper that's not been thoroughly cleaned. I'm a loyal customer of the brand and has been taking the fish oil supplement for humans for a long time, which is why I've chosen to purchase a supplement for my pet from Nordic Naturals, but now I'll try products with more sensible packaging from other brands until this dropper becomes a part of the cap that can seal the bottle. This really should be an easy change to make--a dropper cap is common and standard for health supplements, medication, and skincare products. I've actually never encountered a separate dropper situation before. Seriously, I can't wrap my head around it.

My senior Great Dane/Irish Wolfhound started taking Nordic Naturals Omega-3 Pet about 1.5 years ago at the suggestion of our vet, and it's helped his dry coat and mobility issues tremendously! It also doesn't hurt that he loves the taste :)

It is the best omega-3 oil you can give your dog or cat. Watch out because there's other people that make their products look similar.

Top supplement in our daily diet for forty years

Recommended by my vet (and every vet I have ever had) for my Northern breeds. It is each vet’s top choice and they recommend we start it early in our pet’s life. We prefer the oil, as opposed to capsules, as it is easier to measure and everyone loves the taste. Our cats also love it. Because it can be a little messy, I store the bottle in a zip lock bag in the fridge.

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Questions

Hi, can small dogs have this under 10lbs? Thank you

  1. No, the gel cap is too large.  Also our dogs are not willing to eat the gel cap if the find them it in their food either.  In the past I have been able to cut the gel cap and squeeze the oil into the food.  Our current dogs find it too strong a flavor if I get too much in the food.  So start with small amount.
