Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this cat litter for its natural walnut shell composition, excellent odor control, and gentle lavender-bamboo scent. Most report their cats readily accept it, with minimal tracking and strong clumping ability. Reviewers consistently highlight the eco-friendly, upcycled formulation as a key reason for loyalty, appreciating a sustainable alternative to clay litters. Many note the scent effectively masks odors without overpowering, and cleanup is significantly easier than traditional options. A few customers report their cats preferred other litters or found the scent too strong, but these concerns are rare. Overall, most consider it an excellent choice for environmentally conscious cat owners.

I’ve bought this product for over a year. It was great! They recently changed their formula and now, instead of the cat urine clumping, it just falls apart. Now the litter box smells like urine. If you like that smell, this litter is for you!

No, I do not recommend this product.

We understand your concern regarding the performance of Naturally Fresh Lavender & Bamboo Scented Clumping Walnut Shell Cat Litter and the importance of effective clumping and odor control. That is not the experience we want for you. Please contact us through petco.com/contact-us so we can help make it right.

I have three sweet cats; two of them are senior ladies, and the youngest member of the bunch is a ginger male that I rescued. I have always purchased Naturally Fresh Kitty litter in-store, but this bag with the lavender scent is awesome! I can have this order shipped to my house without the cumbersome effort of loading it up in the store! I honestly believe that the lavender scent reduces aggression in my multi-cat household! This lavender-scented kitty litter smells great for humans too!

Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of the cats loved it! Wish it wasn't heavily scented! No dust, must have for asthmatic person like me. My older one is so picky with litter and she used it without any fuss.
