This is the second time we have purchased the Moderna planter litter boxes. They are a great size, super easy to keep clean, and keep odors in control pretty well. When it was time to purchase additional boxes,, I bought some cheaper imitation versions and regretted it almost immediately. They had grooves on the interior where the pieces fit together, and all sorts of nastiness would get stuck in the grooves. This box is a solid piece of plastic, no grooves, and it makes a big difference. Also, ours were exactly as described, and came with the lids and plants for the top. I think the other reviewers probably just needed to place a call and alert someone that their orders were not complete. Fortunately ours arrived with all advertised pieces.

Yes, I recommend this product.

How large of a cat could fit in this box. My cat is around 20lbs and long, he dos not fit in standard litter boxes.

I have four of these, but I got for the height, one of my cats can still hit the lid but this keeps it in! It’s a big box but I would say it’s a close call. It is approx 16” diameter inside at the bottom, tapers slightly, about 17” dis half way up. The opening is large, about 9.5” tall and wide. My biggest cat is only 12lbs but also very very long and he fits in no prob, a previous cat was 15lb and no problem but I don’t know what a 20lb cat could be like! If they are short hair and clean in their tray behavior I would go for it, if they are long hair and get everything up the sides I would look for an even bigger box!
