Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this dog bed for its exceptional softness and plush texture, with most pets immediately gravitating toward it and refusing to leave. The bed fits standard crates perfectly without shifting, making it ideal as a reliable crate liner. Many note their dogs, regardless of size, instantly fell asleep on it or chose it over other bedding. Several customers with active dogs report surprising durability despite light chewing. A few mention it lacks thickness or firmness, though most find it worthwhile for the comfort it provides.

Bed is soft and plush but it doesn’t wash well. The plastic dots on the bottom of the bed, that are supposed to be for gripping, wash off in the washer making a mess. Then even more come off in the dryer. And it attracts a lot of fuzz if you wash it with anything else I wouldn’t buy again

Ordered 2-Medium beds when I adopted a rescue (one for the kennel, one to float around the house). He's nearly 20lbs with a Med-size kennel. Medium worked great. It's been 4 months and still in great condition. They are soft and wash well. He loves them!

I chose this comfy-looking bed for my Springer Spaniel. It's online image appears soft and comfy. In realty it flattens to virtually nothing when weight (i.e., your doggo) is applied to it. My dog weighs 50lbs (20kgs?) so it would flatten. My opinion is that It offers support for small lightweight breeds but sadly not for medium/large breeds. I returned it unused for a refund.

How thick is this?

It is soft and fluffy, but not very thick because it is not filled with foam. With no weight on it, the bed fluffs up to a few inches tall, but with weight on it, the bed is probably only an inch or so.

Does the cover zip all the way around? I have a disability and need one like that?

There is no removable cover. The bed is one piece, so you throw the whole thing into the washer. It is very pliable, and I have had no difficulty washing it. Also, the gray does not show fur like other colors do. Plus, it is super soft and unique looking. I do not recommend this for cat use, though, as the decorative threading would stretch and make the bed look unsightly.
