Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this canned dog food for exceptional palatability and high-quality ingredients. Dogs—even notoriously picky eaters—devour it with enthusiasm, licking bowls clean and showing visible excitement at mealtime. Reviewers consistently describe the aroma as remarkably appetizing, comparing it to real BBQ, and note visible meat chunks and gravy contrasting with typical canned foods. Many express strong confidence in grain-free formulas and real meat as primary ingredients, feeling good about feeding recognizable, trustworthy components. A few mention meat chunks are too large for smaller dogs, and one noted mild digestive discomfort. Overall, customers enthusiastically recommend this food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My pup went wild for the Merrick Slow-Cooked BBQ Texas Style with Braised Beef! The smell alone could make you think someone’s barbecuing in the kitchen. The tender beef chunks and rich gravy look and smell like real BBQ, she couldn’t wait to dig in. I love mixing it with her dry food for a little extra flavor and texture, it makes mealtime extra special. I also appreciate that it’s grain-free and made with quality ingredients I can trust. She licks the bowl spotless every time and looks up wanting seconds. A true Texas-style winner that’s here to stay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feed my dog Kody Merrick wet food, and this is one of his favorites! The minute I open the can he comes running as the smell of the BBQ sauce is irresistible! The chunks of the braised beef combined with the sweet potatoes and green beans complete this nutritious meal. Plus you can't beat the quality of the ingredients and the taste!
