Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this wet dog food for its exceptional palatability, with most dogs eagerly consuming meals in minutes regardless of breed or prior pickiness. Reviewers consistently highlight high-quality ingredients including real deboned beef, absence of grains and soy, and wholesome, recognizable components that build trust and drive repeat purchases. Many note their dogs show renewed enthusiasm for mealtime, finishing rapidly where they previously refused or ate slowly. The pate texture appeals broadly, even to dogs preferring chunkier styles. A few customers report their dogs showed no interest or found the texture too mushy, though these concerns remain isolated. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend this food for its ingredient integrity and proven ability to excite even the pickiest eaters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a fan of this type of texture in this particular recipe but my girl on the other hand loved it. I put a spoonful on one side and mixed some with her dry food. She went straight to lick up the food that was not mixed in with the dry then gobbled everything down. I like that it is cooked in the USA, it provides balanced nutrition and it is high in protein. The end result; doggy approved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the can of Backcountry dog food out and as you can see Lt. Miles knew something good was coming and waited patiently. He licked the bowl clean! I appreciate the ingredients have no grain, soy or wheat and that actual deboneded beef is in the #1 ingredient.
