Our budgie is very stubborn when it comes to food. We have tried and experimented with countless pellet brands but these are the only ones she will take. While she leaves out the bigger bits, she nibbles and eats the smaller ones which are more the size of seeds. Mazuri was recommended to us by our vet as the brand to try for picky eaters. So far it worked.

Great product, my birds love it and are healthy using it. Been using it for 3 years now. Veryy little waste compared to seeds and way less mess in the cages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never found out what my parakeets' favorite food is because they are very selective when they are eating. They took a long time to try it out and it looks like they now have a new favorite food. The package is relatively large and when it's over, I bought more and will try new foods from the same brand.

My canaries really love this food. The finches are taking a little longer to start eating it but the canaries surprised me and seem to like it better than seed.

My Green Cheeked Conure does very well with this formula

Had a hard time converting my budgies to pellets. After a long time they now eat a mix of three different pellets of which Mazuri is one. They seem to like the mix and are healthy, active and are maintaining a healthy weight. All the pellet makers say no waste with pellets but if you have birds you know that isn't true.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This is a great bird seed for your small birds..I came across this when searching for a brand that was nutritional and healthy for birds. That is my main focus. This has been a favorite brand for us. And our bird really seems to enjoy it as well.
