Marquis Oral Paste is used to treat equine protozoal myeloencephalitis (EPM) caused by Sarcocystis neurona. Marquis 15% Oral Paste contains the ingredient ponazuril. It is an anticoccidial (antiprotozoal) compound that kill the Sarcocystis.
