These filters are excellent. They last a long time, too.

Have enjoyed the longevity of these filters in the aquarium

been using this brand since 1975, since 1992 this size. Filter so well my fish live years.

Easy to use - no mess, no fuss! I use a filter for 2 weeks or 10 days, rinse with kitchen sink spray attachment, then use in front position in my filter unit with a second one behind it. After another 10 days or so, I pitch the front filter & use the back one solo for another 10 days, rinse it & use as the front of two & repeat... The used units - charcoal & blue fabric with plastic backing - then work in my flower pots over the drainage hole to keep dirt in my potted plants!

Changing the filter is easy. I actually wash my filter off & reuse it about 3x. Then I put the filter full of fish gunk out in the garden to fertilize my plants - have even used the whole filter in bottom of a planting pot to cover the drainage hole - my fish live for YEARS! I breed kribensis (the guppies breed themselves) & they are happy!

Good product for its use on a 20 gallon tank. Have to change once a month

Filter package arrived super fast and was packed very well so that they were not damaged in the mail. Not much more to say--just what I needed, and great service!
