Too small
Nearly useless for a puppy! It’s way too small for an excited puppy. My pup easily found all of the food in less than 2 minutes. Then he picked it up and played with it. I ordered online and didn’t realize how small this is.

Better for cat or small dog
My dog loves snuffle mats, so I thought this would be perfect for him. However, it is quite small, so we decided to use it for our cat instead. The cat loves getting little crunchy treats out of it, and the dog has even tried to steal some from it. The product is very well made and doesn’t feel cheap at all. There are little rubber grippers at the bottom (think gripper socks), so it doesn’t slide all over the floor like other snuffle mats. It’s a soft fleece material, so it’s comfortable for both the cat and dog to get up close and personal with. Great enrichment toy, but I’d especially recommend it for a small dog.
