This is my third one. I end up giving them away to dog owners who aren't, shall we say, cognizant of their dog's desire to chase cats. I love these things. They are very durable and pleasing to look at as well. Installation is a snap.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're glad to hear these tethers have been helpful for you.

I like these seatbelt loops much more than the style that clips into the seat belt buckle. I base that only on the fact that my dogs inevitably step on the release button on the seatbelt system and unclip themselves. I do know there are measures out there that address this button pressing problem, but I'm lazy and that's just one less thing to mess with. So yes- I have several of these in each vehicle, and use only these.

We're so glad these tethers have provided such a useful solution for you, Charlie! Thank you for sharing this feedback with us!

Well made but the carabiner is quite heavy. It works okay with our 45lb Retriever mix but we need to find a smaller carabiner for our 26lb dog. Would work very well as is for larger dogs.

Thank you for sharing your experience!

I rarely use these as an actual Seat Belt Loop, instead I have them on a belt around my waist to clip my dogs on to me as we are walking. Using these clips allows me to have greater control of my dogs while at the same time allowing me to go hands free if I need to, for instance picking up after them, or getting them a treat or water etc….

It's not fancy, but it works well for my two medium sized dogs.

Customer Care

Thank you so much for this feedback Susan! We love to hear how well it has worked out for your German Shephard!

The seat belt loop works great, is simple to use and has been perfect for my large breed dog. I found it works far better than the click in seat buckle version which my dog has been able to pull out. I have yet to find a better product. I definitely give it 5 stars!
