We purchased two (through Amazon). Good quality, roomy, and functional. They work extremely well for our senior 20lb Westie girls. And they double as overnight hotel bags for us. (We typically use a stroller for our girls at home but it it too big and bulky for travel.)

I give this 10 stars for my 10 lb. cat and 18 stars for my 18 lb cat. They’re OBSESSED with it! I don’t know how anyone couldn’t give this a perfect review. I am going to give every detail I can so enjoy the following: The only critique I have for future models is instructions should be included. There are a lot of awesome features like the optional rods…USE THEM!!! Most important thing!! But I had to play awhile before realizing where the clips were. Not even 100% sure I did it right but it seems to work very well. There are a few different models out now, but the one I have has a pocket on the back underneath the straps with Velcro. It’s the zipper pocket where you can tuck the straps in if you use it as a traditional carrier. On either side of the pocket interior, there’s a little black clip on a string. I put the rod through and ran down til it touched the bottom. Then I tucked the top of the rod I tucked into the top zippered part of the pocket. So my only other critique is I’m not sure if there’s a string or tiny pocket or something the rod should slip into on the top and bottom, but that would be nice. The durability is insane and the details are high quality. The zipper pulls, zipper mechanisms, and the fabric are so nice. The tether is thick and long. There’s a darn laptop sleeve I mean, come on! To top it off you can tuck the straps into these little pockets and zip them shut, and put it on its side to transform the bag into a traditional carrier. Whaaaat did I say?! Yes!! This is a transformer backpack pet carrier!! Mind blown! My 18 lb gray cat lays beside it in one of the pics. He’s perfectly comfortable in it in both positions. The quality is also shown in the removable “cushion” which has a thick piece of heavy corrugate(?) board inside the zipped pocket…so it’s washable. I included 2 pics of this. I mean that’s thoughtful! I love products that are worth the money I’m paying. Buying a cheap bag just means I’m going to have to buy them constantly, or even on 1 use the threads break. But this bag is impressive!! The plastic bottom feels rubbery almost, it’s really thick too. I can tell that’s a big difference for how comfortable my cats sit in it when I wear it as a backpack. Both of my 7yo cats have been in the same house since kittens and only leave to go to the vet. We’re moving 5 hours away and needed a backpack so I can carry them both easily. I might start taking them on hikes. 😂 That’s how cool this is!! Omg and don’t get me started on the THREE LOOPS ON THE BOTTOM my carabiner fans! There’s elastic loops on both straps, adjustable chest strap & adjustable lower back strap. I’m a 275 lb woman with a large chest and I have room left on the straps, my fellow large boned folks, you will be astounded! Everything is going to end in exclamation marks now! I hope I did it justice with this review! Buy one and you’ll see!

I recently purchased the Kurgo G-Train Dog Carrier Backpack, and I’m honestly very impressed with the quality. The backpack is sturdy, well-designed, and super comfortable to carry, even for longer trips. My dog feels safe and relaxed inside, and the ventilation and padding are excellent. What made the purchase even better was getting a great discount using a GrabOn coupon code, which made this high-quality carrier totally worth the price.

Not sure why these are so popular we can’t use it at all for our dog. If i had paid attention to the design i would have noticed the top opening cannot be adjusted so there is only a very limited sized dog where this pack will work. We tried a little makeshift platform inside and all kinds of mods but unfortunately this pack is going to donations.

It’s super comfy for the dog and generally for the person wearing the back pack. One flaw that easily can be fixed is that The hard plastic on the bottom makes it sore on the lower back if carried for two days in a row. So there should be padding on the plastic as well.

I needed to transport my dog on the plane and this backpack is perfect! When we go out, she actually likes to stay in the backpack as a safe place.

The bag is excellent quality and well designed. I secured the Secured bag onto my bike and my dog now loves joining us on bike rides. I like the fact he’s on his feet rather than placing stress on his spine. Because the bag is attached to the bike, he feels very safe and secure.
