Rating Snapshot
Review this Product
Customers say
Customers overwhelmingly praise this toy for exceptional durability, with most noting it withstands even the most aggressive chewers where other toys fail within days. Reviewers report their dogs carry it, play fetch, or chew daily for months or years without significant damage. Many customers with strong-jawed breeds say it's the only toy that survives. The high bounce and weight enhance playtime. A few customers report eventual wear or disinterest, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by strong satisfaction across dog sizes and chewing styles.

Questions
Is this good for a herding dog?
- The KONG Extreme Ball is a highly durable fetch and retrieve product made from KONG's black extreme rubber, the most durable rubber made for power chewers. For another product suggest beloved by herding dogs, check out the KONG Flexball Sport Ball XL. This product is not made from the black extreme rubber but is a larger sized product for interactive herding and fetching fun!

Does this ball have a hole in it? My dog uses the holes to destroy them within minutes. The one without the hole lasted her forever, and the others only minutes.
- Yes, it has a hole but I have a pitbull that tears everything up in minutes, so there is only 3 toys I have found that she doesn't destroy. This ball is tuff and durable and a red ring that is like $18 at Petco and a tough tire not the cheaper ones but the $25 one for my girl Bella everything almost in destructible. Hope this helps and good luck with your puppa!

Does this ball float?
- Hi KImber144, Due to the weight of the rubber the Extreme Balls will not float. If your customer is looking for a float toy we have the Wet Wubba (WW1 or WWX) or Aqua KONG (CK1 or CK2) that will float. Hope that helps! Thanks,
