Customers say
Customers overwhelmingly praise this bird food for exceptional palatability and quality, with nearly all reporting their birds eagerly accept and enjoy it, even picky eaters who previously rejected other foods. The soft, breakable pellet texture is gentle on beaks and ideal for older birds, reducing mess compared to harder pellets. Reviewers consistently highlight the nutritious formulation with natural fruit flavors, essential vitamins, and minerals without artificial colors or additives. Many appreciate the transition from seed-based diets and express confidence in the high-quality, real-food composition. A very few note isolated preferences or concerns, but the overwhelming consensus strongly favors this food.

Questions
I have two Macaws and two Greys that have been on Kaytee fruit pellets for atleast 15yrs,i would love to add this soft food to their pellet diet. They also eat fresh fruit vegs, and some people food with restrictions. ie: no salt sugars etc. Thank you for
- My 29 yr old umbrella cockatoo is a picky eater and hesitant to try new foods. I added this soft food to her diet and she has been eating it, slowly, but at least she is eating it. The packaging is nice and seems to keep the pellets fresh.

Are there samples that you can send of this soft food? How long can it be in the food dish? Will it become hard sitting out in the dish?
- I haven't seen any samples available. The pellets are similar to a "chewy" type dog treat, so it is not wet, more dough-like. It will get hardened as it stays exposed to air, so I would offer in morning and dump at evening. It smells fruity, but my conure didn't take to it.
